After turning in over 380,000 signatures (15,000 from NCJWSTL alone!), the Right to Reproductive Freedom initiative is OFFICIALLY on the ballot as Amendment 3!

NCJWSTL and our coalition partners believe that politicians should not be involved in personal decisions. Patients and their doctors should decide what’s right for their unique situation. Decisions around pregnancy, including abortion, birth control and miscarriage care are personal and private and should be left up to patients and their families. But here in Missouri, politicians are making those decisions for us. We can put a stop to this on November 5th.

For our September Lunch and Learn, we are excited to welcome Alex Cook, Director of Organizing and Campaigns at Abortion Action Missouri. Alex is an experienced community organizer and is passionate about building power for gender, racial and economic justice. If you have attended any abortion rights rally in the past few years, you have likely heard Alex motivate the crowd – he is an incredibly engaging speaker and this Lunch and Learn is not to be missed.
