A longtime priority issue for NCJWSTL is domestic violence as we strive to help develop and pass effective public policy to address intimate partner violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking to ensure increased emphasis on prevention, accountability for perpetrators and justice and resources for survivors.

For our October Lunch and Learn, we are excited to welcome Emily Stoinski (she/her/hers), who is passionate about empowering the community to respond to domestic, relationship and sexual violence and addressing the experience and needs of marginalized populations. Having spent seven plus years working directly with survivors of domestic and sexual violence and/or providing community education, Emily believes every person has the ability to prevent and/or reduce the impact of violence in their relationships, families, and larger community. Emily Stoinski also serves as the chair for the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Panel for the City of St. Louis.
