Harley Hammerman, a favorite guest of Coffee Talk, is back by popular demand. He is the researcher and writer behind the websites Lost Table and Lost Dishes. Harley is a radiologist and entrepreneur. On the side, he collects historical memorabilia, including those from long-gone beloved restaurants in the St. Louis area.

 

This April Coffee Talk, Harley focuses on two memorable St. Louis restaurants, Hamburger Heaven and The Greek Gourmet. These restaurants were both landmarks in St. Louis – Hamburger Heaven in University City and The Greek Gourmet in Creve Coeur – each with its own special menu items. Join us as we talk with relatives and friends of both establishments to learn more about these treasured restaurants.
