🎉BIG News! NCJWSTL has been named the recipient of the 2025 NCJW Rising Tide Campaign of the Year Award for its pivotal role in restoring abortion rights in Missouri through the successful passage of Amendment 3.

Led by past Section President Marlene Hammerman, our campaign mobilized thousands across the state — collecting over 15,000 petition signatures and spearheading a powerful Get Out The Vote effort. This victory, one of seven across the country last November, now helps protect the rights of more than 11 million women. Congratulations to Marlene; Jen Bernstein, Advocacy Manager; Heather Silverman, Director of Policy & Evaluation; and committee members Wendy Flusser, Amy Kuo Hammerman, Phyllis Langsdorf, Nancy Litz, Laura Newman, and Lisa Oxenhandler.

The award will be presented on May 19th at NCJW Washington Institute 2025: Together We Rise, a national leadership and advocacy gathering in D.C.
