Our Jewish values compel us to support full access to safe and legal abortion care as basic health care.

You may have heard that the Missouri Legislature is bringing abortion rights back to the ballot under the same name, Amendment 3. 

We must continue to support survivors of rape and incest from being denied the care they need. We must continue to support women who are miscarrying from being turned away from emergency rooms. We must continue to support women with life-threatening complications from being told their conditions need to get worse before doctors can help them. 

This isn’t about politics. This is about who has the right to make personal decisions for us and our families. We should trust women and their doctors to decide what's right for their unique situation—NOT politicians.
