NCJWSTL has been working behind the scenes with Americans United for Separation of Church and State (AU) and the Women’s Law Center (NWLC) on a lawsuit challenging Missouri’s abortion bans, which unconstitutionally impose one narrow religious doctrine over all Missouri residents. On Thursday, January 19th, we were there when Missouri faith leaders across multiple traditions demanded these abortion bans be struck down by filing Rev. Traci Blackmon v. State of Missouri.
