ROAR – Resistance, Organization, Action and Resilience
June 4, 2017
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
NCJW St. Louis
295 N. Lindbergh
We are facing a unique historical moment. Jews across the country feel their core values are under assault and that they or people in their communities are directly at risk, and want to take action. But how? How do we make a difference, not just a statement? How do we channel the energy to act in this moment towards developing campaigns that make real change?
What: Through the wisdom of community organizing, this workshop will explore campaign development and how to build power and have the greatest possible impact. This is a great opportunity for those both new and more experienced in social justice work to come together to learn and envision the next phase of our community’s social justice work. The workshop is hosted by JOIN for Justice as part of a national training series. To learn more, visit us at www.joinforjustice.org.
When and Where: Sunday, June 4 from 8:30 – 4:30 PM. NCJW offices: 295 N. Lindbergh St. Louis MO 63141. This venue is wheelchair accessible. Kosher breakfast and lunch will be served.
