January is Anti-Trafficking Month, and in 2019 there are victories to celebrate and challenges yet to face. Katie Rhoades, herself a survivor and the founder and Executive Director of Healing Action. will join us to share her dramatic personal story. Attending the Missouri Meetings & Events EXPO, she observed some of the very same suspicious actions she teaches hotel personnel to recognize. She promptly reported them to authorities and successfully interrupted a group of traffickers in the midst of their “business”. Learn how she did it, and what you should be aware of in your own travels.
Drinks are provided, please bring your lunch. There is not cost to attend.
