Who’s Hungry Here?

The faces of food insecure families in the region may not look much like you imagine them … and certainly not like government stereotypes. Christine Woody from Empower Missouri will help us understand whose ability to feed themselves is at risk due to new restrictions on the SNAP program and changes in food policies. You’ll learn exactly how hard it is to eat on those subsidies, why food pantries can’t do the job alone and what you can do to promote more humane policies to impact the problem.
